Congrats to this beautiful couple on their new baby boy! Welcoming a baby into your family is such an amazing experience. Christian was such a treat to photograph. I absolutely love how his newborn session turned out. His close-up shots of his fingers, toes, etc. are so sweet. Newborns grow up so fast and those first few weeks and months of caring for a new baby fly by, so it's nice to be able to look back and remember just how tiny they were when they were first born.
Christian's dad played college football, so we included a football prop at the end. Maybe one day he'll follow in his dad's footsteps.
Welcome to the world, baby Christian!

I was so excited to meet precious Baylor! She has the sweetest family. Big sister took some coaxing to get in the photo session, but once she did, we got some great family and sibling photos. Working with babies and toddlers is not always as easy as it looks, but I'm up for a challenge. I have decades of experience working with little ones who don't always want to participate. It's very rewarding to be able create some beautiful memories that families will always treasure.
Your newborn is only a newborn for a very short time, so don't wait to book your session!

How gorgeous is this little man and his parents? He has some of the most killer eyelashes I've ever seen and had such a laid back personality! I love all of his different expressions! He was born on Valentine's Day, so of course we had to throw in some Valentine's props. Welcome to the world, sweet Thivian. I can't wait to see you again in a couple of months!
I absolutely loved working with this little cutie and his sweet brother and mommy! They are the most gorgeous little family and you can see the love they have for each other. Ezekiel, Malachi's older brother, was super cooperative to only be a toddler. He found a favorite toy at the studio (an old-school toy phone) and wanted me to "answer" the phone the whole time. Haha! He was too cute!
Mr. Elliot could not have been any cuter for his 1-year photo session! It seems like yesterday I was shooting his mom and dad's maternity session and then his newborn session. This year has flown by and he has gotten so big! It was so much fun capturing his first year. It's such an honor when families trust me with these priceless memories! You just can't get these moments back, so make sure to have them captured while you can!
As much as I love photographing little ones, it can be a refreshing change of pace to photograph older kids and teens! I'm glad to now be adding high school senior portraits back to the list of services I offer. I was so glad Jace's mom had me capture these photos for him to kick off his big senior year. Can you say future model material? I hope he has the best year ever and many blessings in his life!
It was such a pleasure meeting sweet Olivia and her beautiful family! Her family has waited a long time to be able to welcome a baby girl and they are over the moon in love. She was wide awake for a good bit of her newborn session and sound asleep for the rest of it! It's always nice to capture a few awake shots as well as the sleepy ones. A lot of parents seem to gravitate towards the awake shots.
Here is one of my favorite families at one of my favorites venues, the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum! These adorable twins love trains, so it was the perfect spot for their family's fall photos this year. If I had to describe this family with just a couple of words, it would be "pure joy." Their smiles and laughter are always so genuine and the love they have for one another comes across in every photo session I've done for them. They make my job so much fun and I get so excited about photo sessions like this one!
I had so much fun doing this session for Raelynn, Claire and their beautiful mommy! I always love working with this family.
Originally she wanted to do the photo session in a rustic field with tall grass, but at the last minute she said she liked the creek look, and I just so happened to know of the perfect spot! The sunlight just before sunset was so magical coming in through the tress and dancing on the water. I love that with my job I'm always getting to do something new and creative such as scouting for new, magical locations for photo sessions.
